As a mom of 3 and a primary teacher, I have always had a love for children and children’s literature. One of my favourite times is story time. When COVID hit, so did inspiration. Why not create a podcast where I read children’s stories? The objective was two-fold.
1. I wanted to read and for kids to enjoy some amazing stories
2. I wanted to provide a forum where kids (and some adults too) could hear fluent, expressive reading. Part of learning to be a good reader is hearing how good readers read. (whoah, that was a lot of reads in one sentence!)
The Author
I have always had children’s story ideas in my head, and have finally decided to actually put them on paper. I am just beginning my journey as a children’s book author, but I’m excited to see where it goes, and I’m grateful to be able to share my journey with you.
I will be posting story excerpts and links to the works when they are published. I also will post about the process of publishing my first book. Keep your eyes peeled for story updates!

I have taught a number of grade levels from Grade One to Grade 4 and Learning Resource. I have always loved literacy and teaching children to read and to love reading
